Out and About

Texas LIVE is out delivering magazines today, here's some of the fun stuff that we've found while out and about:
The Antique Gypsy in Brenham, TX is one of the most fun places to stop for a girls day out. Mary Ellen has the cutest shop full of whimsical furniture, gifts, artwork and more. I've been bringing my girlfriends here for years. It's seriously one of the best stops in the area. If you're headed to Round Top this spring, put this shop on the top of your list. The Antique Gypsy is also my favorite place to purchase Yellow Box Sandals. They are 40% OFF !!! The BEST SANDALS EVER - better get you some for spring:)

Of course with new sandals comes the need for an updated pedicure. Thyme Day Spa is awesome!

Thyme Day Spa is the most peaceful, tranquil spa between Houston, Austin and College Station. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is amazing. The perfect spot for an afternoon "time out."

We had a great time with friends and family at our Holiday Open House!!

These boots are from Nellie's on the downtown Brenham square. OMG!!!! They are awesome! This store totally rocks. I shop here for lots of birthday presents and I always buy seasonal clothing pieces here. Boots, Jeans, Dresses, Jewelry and Accessories -they have the most unique things. I also love that her stuff is for 'real women' - her sizes actually fit and you don't have to be a teenage size 2.

Super-cool dress for spring - Nellie's on the Brenham downtown square.
How cute is this chair??? We LOVE Hermann Furniture for this very reason - they are so cool! Jennifer always keeps the store updated with the latest colors and trends. If you haven't been in lately, you must go. Just walking through their doors puts you in the mood for spring decor!
Easter anyone? Aren't these adorable?

Hi,
Can you post on your blog what part of Texas is included in your area?
Thanks,
Lois

Well, we have very loose borders! As you can see from the last few blogs, we have been in Houston, Cypress, Bastrop, Brenham, often in Bryan/College Station. We did an East Texas Road trip including Nacadoches, Tyler, Jefferson . . . We have spent the last three days in Wimberley, Austin is often included somewhere in the mag. We have state wide distribution on most in most of the major bookstores, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Hastings, HEB. We have subscribers throughout the state and far beyond. Our heaviest distribution is the area between Houston, Austin B/CS and down along I-10. We have also partnered with the Houston Chronicle for distribution. Hope this helps.
